988: The 24/7 Lifeline for Emotional, Mental, or Substance Misuse Support

New Mexico is introducing a 988 hotline for mental health emergencies on July 16, 2022. This presentation will explain what the 988 system is designed to do, how and when to access it, and what steps are being taken to assure that the system can provide supportive and effective service to LGBTQ+ community members. Participants will have a chance to ask questions and voice concerns about the program, which will be shared with state employees.
